Application Terms

As an applicant, you must commit to the following:

• Attend the in-person event in its entirety and without distractions from other projects (e.g. taking meetings, studying, or working on unrelated projects excessively)

• Attend, either in-person or via Zoom, the commencement social at the Victorian Heart Hospital in late March (this will be an evening event)

• Attend all pre-event statistics and manuscript writing workshops (approx. 1 hour/month)

• Tackle your project with enthusiasm, intensity, and aim to get it completed and published in a reasonable timeframe and in good faith

• Treat your colleagues and the event organisers with kindness and respect

• Maintain the expected level of professionalism in your communication with colleagues

• Let the event organisers know of any problems you are experiencing early so we can provide support

If there is something not listed above, but sounds obvious or reasonable (e.g. abstaining from bullying, harassment, getting wasted, damaging property), this is assumed to be included in the Application Terms and are basic expectations.
